Simon Perry joins analyst organisation Quocirca

26th June 2008, Windsor, UK – Research firm Quocirca (www.quocirca.com) has announced that Simon Perry has joined the team as a principal analyst. Bringing with him over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, Simon specialises in environmental sustainability issues and their implications for business models. Simon’s particular interest is the role that IT can play in helping to transform the nature of business, including new ways of working.

Simon is the latest addition to the analyst team within Quocirca, which has become firmly established as one of the leading UK analyst firms focusing on the impact of technology on the world of business.

Simon has broad experience in international operations, having during his career been based in Australia, North America and Europe. With a strong background in IT security and risk management, Simon has previously held senior roles within organizations including CA (Computer Associates). At CA Simon was instrumental in building the company’s information security business as well as advising corporate executives on the business reality of information security risks. In 2001, the FBI awarded Simon a citation for his assistance in helping the FBI and its international peers understand cyber criminal techniques. Simon is also an experienced public speaker and has frequently appeared in the global media, in print, online and on TV.
