UK IT consultants are being invited to a free briefing at the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales (ICAEW) in London on 18 December 2008 entitled ‘Consulting propositions for a downturn - ideas to generate new client engagements’. This COA Solutions sponsored event will outline and discuss propositions to help consultants generate more business and maximise existing client relationships during the economic downturn.
This afternoon briefing will start with advice and guidance from leading professionals - Jon Moulton, founder and managing partner from Alchemy Partners and Clive Lewis from the ICAEW - on how businesses and IT consulting organisations can prosper in a downturn. This will be followed by a COA Solutions-led session that will focus on propositions to generate greater client interest and ultimately boost consultants’ income, including how clients can achieve increased productivity, improved efficiency and receive a quick payback from their software investments during an economic slump.
Areas that will be discussed during the briefing will include:
Ø The procure-to-pay cycle;
Ø Document management technology;
Ø Software analytics 'out of the box'; and
Ø Managed services.
The briefing will end with customer case studies about successful COA Solutions projects that have involved consultants, followed by drinks and a networking session.
